Amanda Sellinger, M.Ed.
Founder & Lead Consultant
I am an educator and restorative practices consultant with over fifteen years of experience in public and charter schools. My work is grounded in the belief that strong relationships are the foundation of meaningful learning. As both a former classroom teacher and school-based restorative practices coordinator, I specialize in helping educators create inclusive, connected classrooms where all students feel a deep sense of belonging.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Michigan and a Master’s in School Leadership from Boston College. I am a certified elementary school teacher in both New Jersey and Washington, D.C., and also hold a Principal’s Certificate of Eligibility in New Jersey and a Principal/Assistant Principal Certificate in D.C.
Coaching Philosophy
My approach to professional learning is relational, practical, and aligned with school and district priorities. I offer hands-on, embedded coaching that goes beyond one-time workshops—providing real-time modeling, actionable feedback, and strategic planning support. I work alongside educators to integrate restorative practices and Responsive Classroom strategies into their daily teaching in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.
My goal is to help build the confidence, skill, and systems educators need to cultivate classroom and school cultures where every student feels safe, supported, and valued.
